Fabriqué principalement en métal durable, il est doté d'une chemise de cylindre unique en forme de feuille pour la dissipation de la chaleur, d'une conception intégrée pour la lampe à alcool et son culot, et de deux volants d'inertie en alliage pour des performances fluides et un attrait visuel.

Son fonctionnement est simple et efficace : il suffit de remplir le brûleur à alcool d'alcool à 95 % (non fourni), de l'allumer et, après 60 à 120 secondes de chauffage, d'appuyer légèrement sur le volant pour le voir s'allumer.
