Il utilise une structure thermique refroidie par eau et un double volant d'inertie pour améliorer les performances à bas régime. Il est équipé d'un système d'huile à ruban pour un régime réglable et d'un interrupteur d'accélérateur pour contrôler son fonctionnement, ainsi que d'un allumeur de 4,5 V pour un allumage fiable.
