If this is your first time purchasing this type of engine and you do not already have the necessary starting equipment, we recommend choosing the Gasoline Engine Kit + Advanced Starter Kit. This helps reduce the time and effort needed to find and match compatible accessories separately.

Nitro Engine Kit + Advanced Starter Kit (For RC Conversion)

This version is suitable for customers who plan to use dedicated Nitro model engine fuel. It includes the engine assembly kit and the corresponding starting accessories.

Please refer to the package contents and fuel requirements specified for this version.

Before purchasing, please check the package contents for your selected version.

Please note: A package that includes a starter kit does not mean the engine arrives fully assembled. Fuel and all operating consumables are not necessarily included.
By default, this product is supplied as an engine assembly kit. You will need to assemble the engine yourself and complete the initial setup and adjustments.

We provide an assembly manual and video tutorials to guide you through the process step by step.

If you prefer to purchase a pre-assembled engine, please contact us at service@vortrixe.com before placing your order.

An additional fee applies for the assembly service. Please contact our customer support team to confirm the specific cost and delivery time.

Even with a pre-assembled engine, you will still need to prepare the appropriate fuel and operating supplies and complete the necessary checks before use, following the user manual.
If you purchase an engine kit with an Advanced Starter Kit, you will still need to prepare the following assembly tools and operating supplies, depending on your engine version.

Assembly Tools

* Needle-nose pliers: Used to grip and install small components. Not included; please prepare your own.
* Tweezers: Helpful for handling and installing small parts. Not included; please prepare your own.
* Hex keys (Allen wrenches): Sizes 1.3, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 mm are required. A set is currently included as a limited-time promotional gift, so there is no need to purchase another set while the offer applies.
* 8 mm hex socket: Currently included as a limited-time promotional gift, so there is no need to purchase one separately while the offer applies.

Complimentary tools are subject to the promotional offer available at the time of your order.

Fuel and Lubrication Supplies

* Gasoline and two-stroke engine oil (2T oil): The gasoline version uses a fuel-mix lubrication system. Gasoline and two-stroke oil must be mixed according to the ratio specified in the manual for your engine version. Fuel and oil are not included and should be prepared separately.
* Valve chamber lubricant: You can use engine oil or high-temperature grease to lubricate the valve chamber, so purchasing grease separately is not necessary. If you choose to use grease, select a product with a heat resistance of approximately 200–300°C (392–572°F) and apply it according to the assembly guide.
* Automotive coolant: Required for the water-cooling system. Not included; please prepare your own. No specific brand is required.
* Threadlocker: Used to secure screws specified in the assembly guide, such as the connecting rod fastening screws. Not included; please prepare your own and apply it according to the assembly instructions.

Although the F2 is a four-stroke engine, the gasoline version requires two-stroke oil mixed with gasoline because it uses a fuel-mix lubrication system. The oil must be suitable for mixing with gasoline.

If you purchase the Nitro Engine Kit + Advanced Starter Kit (For RC Conversion), please follow the fuel requirements specified in its manual. Do not apply the gasoline version's oil-mixing instructions to commercially prepared Nitro fuel that already contains lubricating oil.

If You Purchase the Gasoline Engine Kit (Only Engine)

In addition to the tools and consumables listed above, you will also need to prepare compatible starting accessories separately, including:

* CDI ignition module and matching sensor
* Compatible battery and charger
* Two spark plugs with 1/4"-32 thread specifications
* Compatible fuel tank, cooling system, tubing, mounting base, wiring, and related accessories

If you do not already have this equipment, we recommend choosing the Gasoline Engine Kit + Advanced Starter Kit.

If you are unsure whether your existing equipment is compatible, please contact service@vortrixe.com for confirmation.
If you enjoy mechanical projects and are willing to follow instructions carefully, the F2 can be a rewarding first engine-building project. You do not need to have a professional mechanical background.

However, assembly involves installing small components, connecting wires, and performing initial adjustments. Patience, attention to detail, and some hands-on skills are important.

After assembly, additional inspection and adjustments may be needed before the engine starts successfully and runs smoothly.

We provide assembly and startup videos. We recommend watching them before purchasing so you can better understand the entire process.

If you are buying the F2 as a gift, please consider the recipient's interests, hands-on experience, and willingness to spend time assembling and adjusting the engine.

These details will help us better understand the problem and provide more relevant guidance.

Important: If you notice significant mechanical resistance, abnormal overheating, smoke, or fuel leakage, stop operating the engine immediately. Do not repeatedly attempt to force the engine to start.
Yes. We provide assembly videos, startup instructions, and tuning tutorials. You can find them in the tutorial section of the product page.

Currently, the printed manual included with the product is available in English only.

If you need documentation in another language or translation assistance, please contact service@vortrixe.com to check which options are available.

Before following a tutorial, please make sure it applies to your specific engine version.

If you notice any differences between the video, the parts you received, or the printed manual, please contact us for clarification before proceeding.
Please follow the fuel instructions for your specific engine version. The gasoline and Nitro versions have different fuel requirements and should be checked separately.

Gasoline Engine Kits

Both the Gasoline Engine Kit + Advanced Starter Kit and the Gasoline Engine Kit (Only Engine) use a fuel-mix lubrication system. Gasoline must be mixed with two-stroke engine oil suitable for premixed fuel, following the ratio specified in the manual for your engine version.

The F2 is still a four-stroke engine.

Two-stroke oil is required because this lubrication system relies on oil being delivered into the engine together with the fuel. The oil requirement is determined by the engine's lubrication method, rather than simply by whether it operates on a two-stroke or four-stroke cycle.

Do not use gasoline without the required amount of oil, and do not change the specified mixing ratio on your own.

Nitro Engine Kit + Advanced Starter Kit (For RC Conversion)

Use dedicated model engine fuel that meets the requirements specified for this version.

Check the lubricating oil content of commercially prepared fuel before use.

Do not apply the gasoline version's oil-mixing ratio to the Nitro version, and do not add extra oil to premixed fuel without first confirming that it is required.

If you are unsure whether locally available fuel or oil is suitable, please send photos of the product label along with your engine version to service@vortrixe.com for confirmation.
The F2 can be used in custom RC conversion projects, but installation requires appropriate modifications based on the available space, mounting points, drivetrain, cooling system, and control setup.

It is not a direct replacement engine for every RC chassis.

You may need to make custom mounting brackets or modify the drivetrain components to achieve a suitable installation.

Before purchasing, please check the engine dimensions and the specifications of your selected version. Compatibility cannot be determined by the model's scale alone.

Please note: Complete RC vehicles, chassis, and custom conversion parts shown in demonstration videos are not included with the engine kit unless they are explicitly listed in the package contents.
Always use the fuel and lubricants specified for your engine version and follow the corresponding instructions.

We recommend performing the following checks regularly:

* Check screws, brackets, and mounting components for looseness
* Inspect fuel lines, cooling hoses, and electrical connections to make sure they are secure
* Lubricate designated components according to the assembly and operating guides
* Check the cooling system for leaks
* After the engine has cooled, remove any residual fuel, oil, and dirt from its surfaces
* Regularly inspect the ignition and fuel delivery systems

The valve chamber can be lubricated with engine oil or suitable high-temperature grease as directed in the manual.

Do not add lubricating grease to the fuel.

For long-term storage, follow the manual's instructions for handling remaining fuel, cleaning, and storage.

Store the engine in a cool, dry place. Battery storage and maintenance should follow the instructions provided with the battery and charger.
The F2 is a real combustion model engine. During operation, it produces heat and exhaust gases, and its rotating components can present safety hazards.

Please follow these important safety precautions:

* Operate outdoors: Always run the engine outdoors, away from doors, windows, and air intakes. Never operate it indoors or in enclosed spaces, as combustion produces carbon monoxide, which can accumulate and cause serious harm.
* Inspect before starting: Make sure the base, screws, fuel lines, cooling hoses, and electrical connections are securely installed. Check for any fuel or coolant leaks before starting the engine.
* Keep clear of rotating parts: Wear safety glasses. Keep hair, loose clothing, wires, and other objects away from rotating components.
* Store fuel safely: Keep fuel away from open flames and heat sources. Use suitable, clearly labeled containers and store them out of children's reach.
* Shut down before handling: Always stop the engine and allow it to cool before refueling, servicing, or adjusting mechanical components. The engine and exhaust parts may remain very hot for some time after shutdown.
* Use batteries correctly: Use compatible batteries and chargers, and follow their respective instructions. Stop using any battery that shows signs of damage or abnormal overheating.
* Maintain a safe distance: Children must not operate the engine on their own. Keep bystanders at a safe distance while the engine is running.

Before operating the engine for the first time, please read the product manual and the instructions supplied with the battery and charger in full.
